Custom versions of the product

For software developers who needs virtual audio transport features, custom versions of VAC driver are available.

A custom VAC version has the same functionality as the common product but is intended specially for application developers. Each version is compiled with unique vendor, product, driver/device names and parameters provided by a customer and works only together with customer's application. A custom version can only be distributed together with such "companion" application.

The "companion" application must provide a specific functionality to a user, using VAC driver only as an auxiliary audio stream transport tool in particular software configurations. Applications whose primary purpose is to give access to VAC driver for using it in arbitrary configurations, are not allowed.

For protection purposes, each custom version has an unique key. Until the customer's application is not connected, the driver either add a noise to the signal, or suppresses the signal, transmitting silence (this mode can be chosen by the customer). While the companion application is connected with the unique key, the driver is fully unlocked.

You can freely evaluate a generic/test build of version 4.70.

To unpack the file, use free 7-Zip archiver or other unpacker that supports 7-Zip archives (for example, IZArc).

See the "readme.txt" file for details.

If there are stability issues, please try older versions that may be more stable:

Version 4.65
Version 4.64
Version 4.15

Generic/test configuration can be used only for testing purposes inside your organization and/or among some external testers. It cannot be distributed widely.
