Virtual Audio Cable (VAC)
25+ years of experience. Connects audio apps together since 1998.
Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) was created by Eugene (Evgenii) Muzychenko, an independent software developer.
Version 1 was released in 1998. Version 2 was first published in the Internet in 2001.
"Virtual Audio Cable" is a registered trademark of the product developer. Since the wording is descriptive, it is allowed to use it as a common term inside a descriptive text ("fair use"), for example: "you can use any virtual audio cable software which is suitable for your purposes". It is prohibited to use the mark to refer to software products from other vendors ("use as a name"). If the mark is used to refer to a specific product, it can only refer to the product for which it is registered, so as not to create confusion.
There are some other software products with similar names and/or descriptions. All of them were developed later than this product, and some of them may use the phrase "Virtual Audio Cable" for promotional purposes. Don't confuse them with original VAC software.
If you have questions about VAC or proposals for it, please email the author.
