Virtual Audio Cable is created by Eugene (Evgenii) Muzychenko, an independent software developer.

Version 1 was released in 1998. Version 2 was first published in the Internet in 2001.

"Virtual Audio Cable" is a registered trademark of the product developer.

There are some other software products with similar names and/or descriptions. All of them were developed later than this product, and use the phrase "Virtual Audio Cable" for promotional purposes. Don't confuse them with original VAC software.
